I am a french student and I need your help
Hello, I am French.
I have just ended my 6th year of medicine in France and I would like to pursue my studies in the United Kingdom. Regrettably I am a little lost. I believe that I have to apply for " Foundation Year 1 ". Can you help me?
What is the diffference between academic foundation year or standard foundation year? How can I apply? ....

Academic foundation years are for those who want an academic career i,.e. are interested in research. There are not many of these available.
If you just want to be a "normal" doctor, apply for the "normal" Foundation Year 1. Your French qualifications will give you equivalence with the UK qualifications.
