Hi there,
I am a final year med student and I am currently trying to decide where to apply for F1. I REALLY want to go to London because my boyfriend and friends are all down there. I really like the look of the North West Thames Foundation School but i am not sure how popular this is? Does anyone know where i can find out how popular each foundation school was last year? I know that London is a very popular choice but i would be interested to find out which foundation schools within london are most popular. Any advice anyone can give me would be much appreciated.
If you search the forum there are posts which include the breakdown score for the different deaneries. I cant remember them now. Anyhow, London was undersubscribed as a whole since everyone was scared of applying there. I think the easiest deanery in London would be either north east or perhaps south east. That is just a guess. I can vaguely remember that north west had a high breakdown score. But still I think everyone got in there. You should also have a look at the size of the deaneries. The southern ones are enormous, extending down to Brighton for example. I'm at north central at UCLH and Im quite happy with that Id have to say. Best of luck!
