theres one medical school in the nw- Manchester medical school. Its associated teaching hospitals are: MRI, Wythenshawe, Hope and Preston. Each of those bases then has a number of smaller hospitals (DGHs) associated (in that medical students based at each teaching hospital willl at some time be placed at its associated DGHs). These include Stepping Hill, North manchester, Burnley general, bolton, trafford, fairfield, blackpool and a few others.
