How many US Colleges can you apply to?

Hi, I'm a first year at college and doing my A Levels. I know in the UK there's a limit of 4 medical universities you can apply to at one time. I was wondering if the US also has a policy like this?

You can apply to as many as you want. There around 130 allopathic medical schools and around 30 osteopathic medical schools. I applied to nine schools. The average person applies to around twelve. After you submit your primary application ($50/school), each school will charge $60-100 for a secondary application. You can see how out of control is gets.....
