    I dont think its actually worth the procedure, pain and after care required. The patient may gain a finger but loses a toe. When she is used to the fact of not having a finger, although after gaining one, now she has to be used to not having a toe. a completely new experience and it disrupts how she walks. Overall, defintely not worth all the pain. Unless, If they can transplant a finger from another patient (dead patient).
