physics homework
can someone please help me on my homework plese
it is to do wiht moments.A 62kg person lies flat on a uniform plank of mass 15kg. The plank, with the person lying on it, is placed on a brick and some bathrooom scales, as shown in the diagram below.
<______________1.56m_________________>
person
plank
<<<<<<<<<<<<<brick here,scales here>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
For the person, the toe-to-head distance is 1.56m. The length of the plank is also 1.56m
The reading on the bathrpp, scales is 30kg. Use this information to determine how far the centre of gravity og the person is from the toes.
i think i need to use moment= perpendicular force x distance
help if u can please i have been trying for ages
