Medicine 2009? Check. Application sent? Check. Already nervous? Check :P
Hey people,
Has anyone else sent of their applications yet? Just sent mine last night, mixture of relief and anxiety :S
Just thought we could start a thread for 2009 entry, those who have sent in the frustration inducing UCAS application, what universities you've applied to and any other random ramble. Would be nice to update each other on any progress etc, hopefully we can all share the excitement of getting in! Fingers crossed!!
Good luck to all and lets hope their is a place at med school with our names on it
Me first:
Applied to those in my sig, after blood, sweat and tears managed to fit in my personal statement, 47 lines on the dot. I'm a pharmacy graduate (also in my sig) and am applying for the 3rd time, being a glutton for punishment

I haven't sent mine off, I'm still waiting on a few things. But yes, now the waiting begins.

Lol, I just couldn't sit on it, having nightmares that I have missed something or filled a section in wrong :P
Where are you applying to? A-leveler or graduate?

Sent mine off, now its out of my hands. On one HAND, im relieved that its sent, and everything's gone smoothly so far. On the other hand, nervous as hell as to whether my application is good enough.
Im 16, applying for 09 entry, ill be 17 in Jan, so Im a year younger than most applicants. Doing my A2 this year. Hoping it doesn't affect my chances adversely.
Im applying to:
BSMS
Southampton
Kings
Nottingham
Wanted Oxbridge but im not too keen on their three year preclinical course, wanted UCL but they have an age limit minimum of 18.
Well there it is. Fingers crossed and good luck to all.

Soton (Cos it sounds and looks great and no interview!)
Kings (Largest intake, looks great)
Nottingham (Far away from where I live, looks great)
UKCAT Average: 687.5, annoyed cos I wanted to break the 700's.

Sending mine off next week some time, Monday or Wednesday probably.
I've watched an application cycle on this site and now it feels strange that it's my turn. Both exciting and scary.
