    UCAS number (help!)

As I've understood, after sending UCAS application we should wait for the letter with our UCAS number (is that right?) Is there any other way of finding it out?
Is it by any chance connected somehow with the UCAS ID number, or receipt number that i received after applying?
I've panicked because I have to fill in the Admission Further Details from Notts and I have 2 weeks to send it and as I don't live in UK I'm sure they won't manage to send the letter on time...
    What should I do now?

well depends where u applied also, i applied for manchester and my confirmation from then arrived before my ucas letter arrived, and on the manchester confirmation email, they had my ucas id number on it, so i was able to access track before ucas sent me anything. so if u have a look at ur confirmation emails/letters you may be able to find it. Good luck!

    Heya,
Like you I got sent the Notts thing the day after I submitted my form and then was really worried about the lack of letter. I was so pleased when I got home today and found it: a week after I submitted by form.
I think you'll be fine. If you don't have your number a week and a few days after you were sent the Nottingham email, give them a ring and explain that you're in another country and it might take longer (their phone number was on the bottom of the attached email).
Meanwhile try filling in the Admission Further Details form so you know EXACTLY what you're going to put in it when you get your number. That way the day your number comes, the day your form can go.
Good luck, don't worry until the two week deadline is almost up if I were you It's easy for me to say that when I've got my letter... but I was worried too and everything's fine now!

Yeah go onto track and click 'Log in to Track', then when that window appears click 'Forgot login details?', then youll be asked to enter your name and dob and on the next screen your Application Number is there. If you cant wait for the postman then thats what ones does, well what i did anyway!

    Wow, cheers for that.

Post strikes arent helpful when a letter is hardly the quickest way to get stuff to people in the first place...

well it mightn't be the fastest method of sending stuff, but id prefer to get a letter than an email, i guess cause its tangible!
