    Grammatical error in PS

I've sent my personal statement to Cambridge weeks before and i was shocked to find that there's a grammatical error in my PS!! I wanted to correct it in my UCAS form but my referee strongly disagree with what i planned to do as she said the one submitted in the UCAS form needs to be EXACTLY the same as the one sent to Cambridge. Now..i'm in a dilemma..should i/should i not correct it for the sake of Cambridge? My referee said it's OK because there's only ONE mistake in the entire PS and they might take it as a typing error instead. Please tell me what all of you think..as soon as possible because i need it hand it in by tomorrow morning.

Personally, I would correct it. -The rule is to stop people adding extra/contradicting information. I think they're unlikely to waste paper on pulling you up for something so petty. - But this is just my opinion, I'm definitely not an authority on the subject.

Thanks for your reply anyway. But i think Cambridge might b more of a...fussy cock? Since my referee strongly disagree with my idea of changing it..i think i'd better take her advice, after all, she's the one who'll write my testimonial.
