Delays with UCAS???
I sent my application into my school for a reference on September 3rd, and when they tried to send it on the 4th it said it could not be sent until 15th September - 15 days later than last year. I still haven't had my form processed by UCAS despite it being sent to them at 9.23am on the 15th. Does anyone know what's causing this - I realise it doesn't happen immediately but 11 days is a bit much -they can't have recieved THAT many applications in the first 23 minutes!!!

Yeh same here. It seems to be taking ages, when people applied last year (from my school) their forms were processed imediately (within 24hrs). But Ive been waiting for 5 working days, and still it hasn;t been processed. Its very frustrating!!!!!
And, Im sure I read in the UCAS booklet, that the form is 'usually' processed within 24hrs (working days) from receiving it and a letter is sent at the end of the 24hrs.
francescaliuzzi; good luck with reapplying. Im applying to Bham as well.

It's exactly what happened last year so don't stress about it - they always run stupidly behind and have delays on all of the applications. Patience really is a virtue, it will get done eventually

By the way I sent mine off last year on 1st September and it didn't get processed until 21st October so you may have a long wait!Final year Bristol medic

hey! i just phoned up UCAS cos i was starting to worry abt my form not being processed yet. well neway i just found out the reason y my form is taking ages is because they still have my old ucas form on their system (im a re-applicant). So the woman has now deleted my old form and hopefully my new one will be now processed. So if ne of u guys r re-applicants n if ur form is taking ages to b processed i suggest u phone up ucas n ask them to delete ur old form asap.
