Hey every1. I would love to help anyone any sort of personal statement help and beyond wrt med school applications. I applied this year and got 3 offers (UCL, SGUL and Leeds)! I think it's important to have somebody impartial and anonymous to look over it!
You don't have to listen to my advice BUT it's there if you want it!

Hello, I'm happy to check over personal statements for people. I'm away from 23rd July for 3 weeks but before and after that I can help. I got no rejections without interview and was interviewed at manchester and liverpool very early on so my "expertise" is probably PBL places, considering Notts and Edinburgh took until april to make their mind up about me.

I'd be happy to look over personal statements (and CAF statements too!) provided it's before October - I really got a lot of help last year when I was doing mine, and would be glad to do it for someone else this year! I am extremely inexperienced at this, though...
I'm an international student starting first year at Cambridge this year. =)

Can I just say a big sorry, sorry, sorry to all those people who have sent me personal statements.
I have been working 45 hours a week to fund Uni so it has been a bit hetic.
I finally booked a weekend off, to celebrate my results, but then everything got ****ed up and I have had to waste my first day off for ten weeks trying to sort things out.
Anyway I'll stop with the sob story, I PROMISE I will read your statements and give advice, but would it be alright if I do it next bank holiday monday?
Sorry again, and good luck with your applications,
Love Bethy xxxxxxxxxxxxxUCL really.

I just want to say a REALLY big thankyou to Meg01 who put in time and effort to make some VERY good comments on my personal statement- improving its readability by a very large degree (see i cant phroase things properly myself ;P ) - thanks very much for a very kind service - it has really helped me out!!
Be who you are, and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I'll proof-read personal statements, if anyone is inclined to send them to me. I managed to get four interviews and three offers, and I'm going to be starting at UCL in a weeks time. Anyone who's interested can contact me at proggerthanthou@gmail.com.
