    Example Personal Statements

    Hi all,

Would anyone be prepared to PM me (anonymously, of course, names and places can be ****ed out) some "real" personal statements?

Ideally I'd like to see some that are considered good (i.e. got offered interview/place) and some that are considered bad (i.e. straight rejections despite grades). Ones from graduates would be useful, but I'll take anything!

It's been 10 years since I last did a UCAS PS and I seem to have writers block!

All the med schools I've spoken to have said I have a strong case, but years of being fairly humble and just getting on with life has left me with no idea of how to sell myself!

    Cheers

    Kem.

You might have a bit more luck if you write your PS first, then ask people to review it...

My PS is so crap I couldn't possibly pass it on... however that web site has given me some good ideas, even if some of the PSs had me crying laughing.
