I'm trying to compile a list of words, phrases and/or traits that help in constructing a personal statement:

Quantaanima, i see in your sig that youo have had two offers already, are they for 2006 med school entry?
I was under the impression no offers were made til the deadline but, if indeed this is not the case then i suddenyl have a major reason to be angry as my school have taken roughly 3 weeks and still not sent of my form (everything my end is completed).

No offers have been given out yet this yea, and none will for at least a couple of months.

OMG.. young doctors are learning 'NHS speak' even before starting medical school. Watch out crusty consultants.. here come Tomorrow's Doctors!

ohhh wtf? so ppl who can actually think of such phrases are being put at a disadvantage by them being stuck on the internet so any old so and so can use them and sound half-decent.

altruism- 1. the principle or practice of unselfish concern for or devotion to the welfare of others (opposed to egoism).
