Loora Spence was used as a political tool, you know, i'd dump that title page if i was you, it belittles MedicalAdmissions.

Not sites on helping to get into Medicine, but I reckon everyone could do with being able to say they've read something a little different to New Scientist (not that I don't love NS!):
- You can register for free to read Student BMJ online. The tone is easier to understand than the BMJ, and it never hurts to read around what's happening in Medicine at the moment.
Student BMJ: The International Medical Journal for Students
- London medical students have their own student newspaper, but anyone can read it. Even if you're not applying to London universities, some of the stuff they write about may be useful.
Issuu - medicalstudentnewspaper's Profile
- Junior Doctor magazine is written for and by (you guessed it!) junior doctors, so the tone might be a little harder to follow than the stuff aimed directly at students, but it could be worth having a look at this as well:
Read the latest issue of JuniorDr
You can register free to read the BNF (British National Formulary, not a magazine but a reference book for licensed drugs in the UK) online, too. Not really useful for applicants unless you're a hardcore pharm nerd keen to impress with your knowledge of drugs, but since it's a free resource I thought I might as well share it.
