thanks alot that was incedibly helpful. is it a problem that my only medical experience is at a vetinary surgery.

I would say you don't need other medical experience, IF you've got caring experience. BUT if you talk about vetinary w/e you're going to raise obvious questions about why you're now applying for human medicine. You presumably have an answer to this question so make sure you state it. (In my PS I talked about journalism w/e and how this made me focus on what I wanted from a career - such as interaction with people, opportunity to help, and constant challenge - which lead me to medicine.)

Of course if you are able to get more medical work experience then take it!
