Questions.
- How many days are you able to get away from the university before your absence is noted or is there no system where your lecture attendence is registered?
- how difficult is it to contact other people at the university on your phone?
- how many hours do you have free per day?
- are there smoke alarms in every room for accommodation?

And are there any ceilings in the accommodation which are made of plaster board pieces which can be moved around?

Some of your questions are a bit strange mate...
Of course your absence is noted. But regardless of what the uni says about it, you're obviously going to be disadvantaging yourself by not turning up for the classes. There are also long term disadvantages- good quality tutors will refuse to come back if only a few students turn up to their lectures etc. Also, although your absences may not show immediate repurcussions, with the school needing ways to fail students, they are starting to look at everything- you could fail on a professionalism judgement which is taken quite seriously at Peninsula.
Not sure what you mean by contacting uni people on the phone; others have already answered the timetable hours question on your other thread; yes there are smoke alarms in every room- AFAIK this is a legal requirement; I'm not answering your last question- it's weird.

Starting to think avfc is a joke account, all these comments about "hmm do people have fire alarms in their rooms?" and "should I become a doctor even though I'm tempted to do evil things?" is just pushing it.

You do ask some funny things avc. I'm sure you have your reasons, but it's starting to get a little odd for standard fresher worries about moving away from home for the first time. Are you trying to see how many odd things you can ask before someone mods you or yells at you? Maybe you're just trying to get your post count up. Good luck with your application anyway, strange one

I wasn't asking stupid questions. It's just better to know these things rather than wait to find out. Thanks for answering Dr Noodle.

I know what you mean about those plasterboard pieces. To be honest if one was a little out of place and it were to fall down and hit me on the head… that would be absolutely disastrous.
In fact if there are plasterboard pieces I am not sure I could bring myself to come to peninsula medical school.
