Yerp Arj i got an invite to the one on the 17th at Plymouth. Did they ask you to bring all your certificates with you? What time does yours say that you have to be there by?

Yes written in bold so I don't miss it :P (Mind you quiet a lot of the information is in bold on the letter!) Well it says my interview is at 11:45 but I need to arrive by 8:15 "in order to complete the pre-interview process" and I can go on a campus tour at 10:15. What about yourself?

interview
I've got an interview on the 17th at 8:30 with a three and a half hour train journey to get there :S. Really pleased
first interview so far... only had acknowledgements as of yet. Who ever posted that advice, it's really good. Thanks. Any one going down there on the 16th on the train that'll go through Birmingham New Street????

I need to book my train, I'm going down on the 16th as well
I need to actually check which route my train takes as I'm coming from the East Midlands. This is my first interview as well, fingers cross everything goes well!
I was getting a bit worried Peninsula had forgotten about me as I hadn't got the acknowledgement email, but it looks like they haven't! So if anyone hasn't got an acknowledgement yet, don't worry!

Where abouts you coming from Arj?
Oh and also guys, another topic that often pops up somewhere on the interview day is current events relating to health care/NHS.
Not sure what that might be this year, maybe public sector paycuts, or polyclinics, something like that, and they'd just ask your general opinion.- Visit the Peninsula Society of Tropical Medicine: here.

I think i've got like the first interview :-S Its on 2nd December at 10am!!! Literally know no one with one before then... I don't know if thats a good or bad thing, atleast no precident will be set lol... Im practicing on how to answer the ethical questions, writing up good answers for the obvious question if they pop up and reading about the latest medical news... I don't know what else to do :-S
Also it makes me think that maybe the list is alphabetical? My second name starts with A...

hey, guys. congrats on getting interviews!! are any of you grads? i have a feeling they're sending interview invites to undergrads first. would make sense, as the GAMSAT results came out in november so those applications would take longer to process.

Hehe, sure jintakarae

I'm coming from Leicester, it's about 3 and half hours drive my dad said so I will definitely be coming a day early and staying at a hotel.
Hey Remus, no I'm an undergrad whose is currently on a gap year! Anyone else in the same position as me?
I'm not too sure about grad interview but I guess it makes sense having all the undergrad interviews in one period and the grad interviews at others. At some other unis they do grads first then undergrads, and vice versa.
Ah well, need to getting cracking and do a bit more reading then I usually do
