Once you have been allocated a campus... (for sept 2008 freshers)
Once you've been allocated a campus within the Peninsula Medical School, be sure to join the groups for your campus-specific network on facebook:
Those allocated to Exeter (the good campus) should click here:
Peninsula Freshers 2008 : Exeter
Those allocated to Plymouth (the better campus) should click here:
Peninsula Freshers 2008 : Plymouth
If you haven't already done so, be sure to join the entire Peninsula freshers of 2008 year (Plymouth + Exeter) here:
Peninsula Medics 2013
Cheers!

I'm really not a fan of Facebook - might just wait until I see people in the flesh. I guess that means I'll miss out on the start of any number of injokes, but oh well (this forum needs a :P smiley...) I'm sure I'll catch up.
P.S. City of grass! Ha! Beats living in a concrete car park of a city! Yah boo sucks!Peninsula, Exeter, year 2

lol. Judge: candidate for the worlds first ever date, relationship then marriage conducted entirely over Facebook.
I just dont see the attraction of Facebook. When it first came out I did not join it because I had to work very hard in my final year at uni, but since then I have not seen any point in joining. Email is a much better way to stay in contact with people.

v. funny chris.
Well I don't see how you can create groups in which pictures video and information can be exchanged using an email account.
In facebook, the accounts clearly indicate real people instead of joeshmoe_the_llama_herder@fakemail.com, if you get my drift.
Here's the problem:
------------
Person 1 : did you hear about that game of bar footsies at the SU?
Person 2: erm no?
Person 1: but we planned that out like an hour ago on Facebook? How could you have missed it?
Person 2: well... I don't have DisgraceBook, I use my email address. My email address is joeshmoe underscore the underscore llama underscore herder@fakemail dot com.
Person 1: Screw that, so are you gonna bounce with us or what?
Person 2: No, I actually have to check my email right now to respond to all of my mates msg's individually.

If you 'create groups' of people at a pub or any other social venue then you can exchange information face to face and you do not need to share pictures and video because you are there to see things for yourself.
and people who asks if I am going to 'bounce with them' tend to get laughed at and reminded that they dont live in 'the hood'.
....only joking mate - you must think im a bit argumentative. Im not like that really its just Stalkbook and the word 'banter' are my two pet hates. At the end of the day, I cant wait to meet you and all the PMS 2008 freshers: bring on October!!!

Lol,
I thought the "lets bounce", would add a nice touch to an otherwise uneventful story.
And yes, Peninsula will be tres bon, but we're not there yet.
One step at a time.

I second that!! the one they've got looks like a normal smile..not good!
facebook isnt that bad. it has its good points. and a much easier way to keep in touch with people. but tis true that a life without facebook would be much less complicated as people tend to get pissed off because someone didnt tag a picture of them. tag your own frickin picture! and theres me going off in a tangent AGAIN!
