Fresher's Week
Hey,
I was wondering what the deal was with the fresher's week at Exeter. We arrive on 18th Sept however on the Exeter uni website it says that the Welcome week, which is just a weird name for fresher's week, starts on 25th a week later.
Do we have two fresher's weeks (aka party for a fortnight
) or what
?
Thanks for your help chums,
MattMatt

Hey Matt
You guys are gonna be the first cohort to have 2 weeks instead of 1. The rest of the Exeter uni students arrive a week later.
MedSoc has a load of things planned for the fortnight, the details of which you will receive nearer the time.
See you in September!

By the way, 'Welcome Week' means 'Fresher's Week' however has less connotations of sex, drugs and rock and roll (all of which will be available in abundance in Fresher's Week! ahem joke ahem

Freshers FORTNIGHT! I can't wait!
Only thing is I'll be missing the Sing Along Sound of Music tour and my friends are going without me. Sob.
Is it really worth it? (Yes I know it is I'm not that sad. Well I am. Was going to dress up as a nun and everything.) I need to get out more...Peninsula 1st year, Exeter

No not really.
Only joking... I was thinking about you every night and wondering where you had got to.
Er... How come your offer is unconditional - you can't have got your grades already.Matt
