What is the route into forensic pathology?
Hey,
I am currently studying for my AS Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computing.
I have wanted to be a forensic pathologist for many years now, I always wanted to go into forensic science, and then forensic pathology caught my eye and I knew thats exactly what I wanted to do.
Does anybody actually know the route to get to this career? I have different people telling me different things, and its getting really confusing! Nowhere does it say a set route, like for a doctor.
Also, I don't know if I will get the grades to get in as I am really struggling with my courses even though I got really good GCSE's. But I am at a fantastic college, and I will work really hard to do as well as I possibly can. Do you have any tips on the courses or learning etc?
Any help at all would be really appreciated (but especially stuff about the route into forensic pathology!)
Thanks,
Amy Hallworth (hopefully will have letters after my name one day)
:P

Thanks for that. I think I've been on there before, the name rings a bell.
And well, I've been looking at universities if thats what you mean? The situation is looking pretty dire to be honest though, I mean in my latest Biology mock exam I got a C and in my latest Chemistry mock exam I got a D (both close representations of what my exam in January is going to be on).
But I'm not letting it get me down, I'm keeping on working, got my head down.
So, yeah, did you mean universities?
