ps to any of the histopath trainees out there
unlike most of the other fortunate people, i found out my interest in histopathology quite late on, currently in FY2 and only recently feel that histopath is the specialty for me.
as applications are coming soon, i know there is a part which says commitment to specialty but as i've only made this decision quite late, im not quite sure what i can do to prove this apart from arranging a taster week (in fact my hospital is not allowing me to do this so i have to do it on my days off...isnt that commitment ?? lol); and im also trying to organise a pathology audit (no idea what yet though)..
any other suggestions?
also if anyone has gone through hisotpath interviews within the recent years pls send me a message!
