Income threshold for childcare grant???????

Does anyone know what the income threshold for the childcare grant is?

I have been reading everything I can find on the childcare grant, but I have not been able to find anything on what household income threshold you have to fall below to qualify. I worry that we might not qualify as I would not be able to find money to pay for childcare for three kids....

I don't know cut off but believe it's quite low (most parents on my course with a spouse who works aren't eligible). Give NHS bursary's a ring, they should be able to tell you for sure based on your circs.

The grant from student finance has different calculations to the NHS bursary, they allow quite a few more deductions from the salary than the NHS do and they also have a higher max per week payable. I got the payment from student loans and was ineligible a year later when switched to bursary with same income and outgoings. I cannot remember the cutoff as the calculation was pretty complicated, it took them nearly a year to get it right for me. It's worth talking to them but I would be surprised if anyone under supervisor level can help you. They eventually emailed me the formula and that's how I knew it was wrong, can't forward it as it was years ago so I don't have it.
