    Thumbs up Babies

    Hello all i am very excited to have found this forum. I am hoping to apply for the graduate medicine course in 2011. I got married in 2008 and have no children. I was wondering what your advice would be on the best time for me to start having children. Would it be best before i hopefully get in next year or wait until i am done which just seems such a long time. I am in awe of u all who have children and are coping, u deserve the title SUPERMUM.

    I would suggest reading the book So you want to be a medical mum?

    It addresses the issue of when to start trying to have children for those either working or studying medicine.

    If you're stressing about it then it aint the right time chief. When its right you'll know it. You're still a wee bairn in the grand scheme of things so dont put too much pressure on youself, theres lots of time for everything in life.
