My name is Damithri and am a Medical student at Imperial College, UK. I am currently doing a Medical Humanities course in my 4th year BSc. In our course, we have to write an article about a topical issue directed at medical students.

I have decided to focus my article on parent medical students and the difficulties they go through, support structures, how they feel they are perceived by other medical students and success stories.

I would be extremely grateful if I could interview medical students with children either by phone or email. If you are not from UK, that is also fine because I would like to hear how medical schools internationally support parent medical students. I would be very happy if I could interview people from this thread and quote you in my article. Obviously, your identity would not be given.

I understand that you all must be very busy but I would love to hear from you as soon as possible. I promise not to take up too much of your time.

Thank you for reading this and please contact me. My email address is dna05@ic.ac.uk. It would also be a good opportunity for you to express your views on support and educate other medical students the difficulties you have faced.

Thank you all,

Damithri (dna05@ic.ac.uk).
