Hmmm...
So I've been really crabby for the past couple of weeks: no patience with anyone or anything, that sort of thing.
And I'm shattered all the time.
And I've got a few spots, no big deal.
And heartburn.
And nausea.
Anyone else thinking what I'm thinking??Last edited by Ellen B; 08-01-2008 at 03:25 AM.
Before you criticise someone you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes

There is also the small matter of my period being two days late.
...okay, and one very frenetic and fabulously passionate (hard to come by these days, I tell you) ...event? just before Christmas.
Hmm, I think we all know where this is going...
But really - ONE occassion (at the risk of sounding like one of those teenagers you want to shake).Last edited by Ellen B; 08-01-2008 at 03:44 AM.

I second Midnite-oils' reply, in that I hope you get the news that you want..... and soon!! Also if it's any help, I am also moody spotty and have heartburn, but there isn't the patter of tiny feet on the horizon (although my physique suggests that i am "with child" I'm actually not.... just ate my own body weight in turkey and quality street over christmas ....sigh)

We're having a baby!
It really is a surprise. Me and my husband keep getting all giddy though!
So I guess I'll be going to med school in 2010 instead now. We'd always planned on having three: the plan was for me to 'intercalate' in having a baby, but I think this way round is actually much better.
We haven't told anyone (family, etc) yet. I think we'll keep it to ourselves for a while - I can imagine their reaction being less than enthusiastic considering we haven't finished decorating baby William's (9 months old) nursery yet, so he's still in with us!
Thank you for your messages! Sanchez - are you sure you're not with child?! That is exactly how I started out! Even down to the Quality Street.
Interestingly, my two and a half year old told me at Christmas that I had a baby in my tummy. Turns out she was absolutely right! Before you criticise someone you should walk a mile in their shoes.

Congratulations Ellen! Always wanted a third but husband said no (two being enough in his opinion).. so I had to find something else to do instead hence medical degree (okay a little more to it than that but not much!)
