    Seeking feedback post-rejection?

    Hello,

I received my rejection letter today and would like to see just how I went wrong so I can work on my weaknesses before my other interviews. Is it common for colleges to give this sort of feedback? Who would be appropriate to contact?

    Thanks

I've not heard any success stories on this front really, but there's no downside to asking (possibly get your referee to ask?). Admissions office for your subject is probably the best initial point of call, or Uni Admissions for advice on whether you'll actually get any useful feedback.

It's most likely that you'll get something generic back along the lines of "the competition was very strong and there were other people who were a bit better on the day". It's not particularly nice or useful to hear but is more likely to be the truth than some specific incident\problem of yours.
