How to prepare for interview?!? - 2010
Hey everyone,
Basically it's a known fact that the interview at Oxford, is not an average medical interview.
I was wondering if anyone had any past questions/ideas about how the interview works, and anything that we can do to prepare?!
Good luck everyone else who's got an interview! Anyone else at Somerville on the 13th?UCL - 2nd Year Medic

I'm also curious about this. I've heard they will ask some detailed science questions and try to trip us up. But from what I've heard these are mainly biology and biochemistry questions-- no maths or physics. Any input?

It'll vary for each college so it's hard to say for anyone what exactly your interview will be about. But I think in general, the idea is that they want to find out how you think/react rather than what you know.
Again, don't take my word for these things, but I think it's unlikely that an interviewer will try to trip you up. I mean in the end, to them, the interview is about selecting the best candidates to be their next first year students. Worth bearing in mind.
