Here's some statistics for 2010 entry GEM.
The number of applications received by the university would appear to be approx 274
I believe the number of places is 50 for 2010 entry according to the open day information, but it could be more or less than that.
Good luck!Last edited by samuk1000; 19-10-2009 at 04:35 PM.

This is true, but there has been a dramatic shift in the number of places allowed for 2010. The speaker at the open day said there should be no problem with everyone in attendance at the open days getting a place, but to consider carefully the implications of studying at Oxford in terms of course structure, expectations of self-directed learning etc. Fully accept could be wrong, have no problem, will consult the notes I took later and reply to thread. May be should read 50?

According to the notes taken on open day, 2007 there were 150 places (Total?). In 2009 this has opened up to 900+. The reflection of the increase in places will also be reflected in the uptake no. for graduate program Ox you'd imagine.
