    and while 32% are outside 1 sd, a normal distribution is symmetrical, so roughly 16% above and 16% below

    Yes, I am overseas GEP applicant to Oxford (Pembroke and St. Peter's).

    You are applying to standard course, then?

    and I'm a Brit living overseas (counting myself as home) so i'm in a weird position compared to most applicants

    Hmm, the 10 on Imperial GEP sounds correct. But I remember reading somewhere that only 2 for GEP (7% intake for approximately 32 spaces). No? What is the source for 7 slots? Don't get me wrong, I'd be jumping up and down if there were 7 spaces for GEP.
