Music A level
Hi,
I'm in Year 12 at the moment, doing AS levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Music and Critical Thinking. I am predicted 5 As and got all As in the January modules (including 100% in Chem, Bio and Maths). Next year I'm going to drop Critical Thining but continue with the others. I really want to apply to Oxfird, but don't know if doing music will mean I'm less likely to get in. Does ne1 no which colleges like/don't mind arts subjects?
Thanks

This is an old thread! But anyhow...
They only require Chemistry + 1 of Biology/Maths/Physics & you were offering 2! & they only require 3A2s. So music was above and beyond what they want = obviously, it was fine.
Re. whether any colleges 'like' arts subjects, their specific websites sometimes say things like "One or more Arts A-levels are encouraged" or "Arts A levels welcomed" on a medicine page which might reflect tutor preference. But TBH, if you perform at BMAT and interview, + meet the requirements I don't think any college will be bothered by your 3rd or 4th subject.
