Elective accommodation in Dunedin

Hi,

I'm going to be spending my elective at Dunedin Hospital from October - November. Does anyone know what accommodation might be best?

Is there anyone who has been to Dunedin for elective who might be able to tell me where they stayed? The only thing I need in my room (apart from the obvious) is internet access!

I'm there for from end of aug to beginning of oct and i booked up with www.flatout-accommodation.co.nz it seemed a good deal.

Cheers for the link. I emailed them the day you posted your reply, but they haven't replied yet. I've emailed them again to chase them up. The photos on the webpage look good so I'm hoping they will reply eventually! Do you know if broadband internet is included in the price?

Just in case they're fully booked, are there any other places you (or anyone else) knows of like Lovelock House? All the B&Bs are too expensive, and the cheaper ones don't have very good reviews on tripadvisor...

The West Coast District Health Board (WCDHB) revealed the new arrangements today. The move follows criticism in light of the experience of Westport woman Haylie Fry. Ms Fry had to give birth in Nelson after the WCDHB organised her transfer to Christchurch Hospital, which said it was too busy.
