A Course in Orthopaedics and Trauma for Medical students and junior Dr.s
Hi I am an orthopaedic consultant in Lincolnshire Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. Teaching and training is something of great interest to me and I currently run a number of medical courses. I feel that there is substantial need for a one day crash course for final year medical students who are going for their mbbs exams. I plan to run these courses two months before the examinations. This aims to help medical students in achieving better scores in the trauma and orthopaedics section of their assessment. I intend to run these courses in Peterborough and Reading with a course fee of £100. This will include tea/coffee and lunch.
I would be interested in hearing your opinions on the following:
1. Course: Do you think these kind of courses will be of substantial benefit to your revision.
2. The fee: Do you think the fee of £100 to be reasonable(I have to pay quite a lot to the course faculty members and also for booking a hotel and its facilities)
3. Dates: In order to schedule a date that would make everyone happy (aiming for around 6 weeks before the exam date) I would appreciate information from students from different medical schools on the date of their exam assessing this topic.
