Me too

Did you apply last year, Teshan?
You might already have the answer now, but nobody answered your question about giving references for work experience on another thread?
When the work experience questionnaire on the applicants portal appears, there are boxes for:
Start Date, Duration, Hours per week, Title of your role/position, Contact's name address phone + email. Then theres a box for details of work experience (I think there was a word limit for this box, approx. only 80-100 words per experience). There are 5 pages for adding work experience, and if you have more you can email them to the admissions office who will add it to your application.
It could be different this time, but as it seems quite a comprehensive system and I didnt see any complaints on here about it last year, im assuming it'll be similar this year.
At some point we were told that a few references are selected from all the applications and Notts will contact them to verify if you've done the work experience you say.
None of my references mentioned having a phone call from Notts, but it might just have been...
"did he do the work experience?"
"yes"
"ok, thanks"- Warwick 2016 -

Thanks Medic_88. Useful information. Do you remember when Notts required the info to be submitted last year?
This is my first application (recently). I did apply when I was 18 too but that was many (many) years ago.

The email asking us to fill it in was sent on the 13th December and the deadline was the 10th January.
It messed up though, by the 20th Dec it displayed a message to say the questionnaire was now closed and no further changes could be made to the application.
I was in a real panic because i'd only filled in half of the form, with no contact details added and the whole department had gone for christmas/new year holidays so there wasnt anyone to talk to either! Luckily it came back so i could add the rest of it.
I dont think i'll chance it this year. As soon as it appears i'll be filling it in, even if its christmas day

I may be worrying prematurely (no GAMSAT results as of yet) but do you know how much work experience we should be doing? Once a week for a maximum of two hours I feed patients on a stroke rehabilitation ward. Summer just gone, I spent two weeks in China with special needs children. I also work full time in the NHS (although it is not caring role) and finally I've shadowed. Would me lack of hours feeding patients drag me down?

Welcome Fofind.
I don't work in health care (work as an academic), but I am getting experience outside full time work. How about you?
