Exclamation Cant log in for the nottingham questionnaire!!!

I've applied for undergraduate medicine in Nottingham and I've been trying to log in to the questionnaire thing for the last two days since I got the confirmation email. It keeps saying that theres a problem, so I cant log in. What should I do???

Call the medical school ASAP and explain your problem. You don't want anything to jeopardise your application.

aislingc did you get the confirmation email, that states you can view the status of your application? I don't think you can fill out the questionnaire yet, s to my knowledge they invite you for interview FIRST then get you to fill out the questionnaire (according to the prospectus). I could be wrong and there's no harm in checking with the university.

Dont worry, aislingc. The same thing happened last year too.
They give you log in details etc. but there's not much you can do on the applicants portal for quite a while.
Have you already been asked to fill in the questionnaire?

An email wasn't sent until 13th december last year to tell people the questionnaire was now ready to be filled in! Once the email goes out, they'll give you a few weeks to fill it in too, so no rush just yet

I cant edit that post, but as Nevertoolate2012 says, invitation to interview is sent first followed by instructions on how to fill in the work experience questionnaire.
Once GAMSAT results came through, it was the start of december until invitation to interview came through too.

I dont understand why the degree subject doesn't match up on the applicants portal. This year it says "Master of Nutrition", last year it was a dietetics questionnaire!
Mine has the going-live date of Tue 20th December. I assume its the same for everyone?

A friend of mine has just started nottingham GEM this year and said the questionnaire is sent out after the interview invitations.

I can only log onto the portal

Thanks a million for all the help everyone!!! Im still not sure though, I got the email on Monday with my login details and it said that I can now complete the questionnaire, and that I only have a week to do it because its used in the first phase of the application process. I really dont know what to do, Iv tried emailing them but I havnt got a reply yet. Also it could be a different deadline for me because Im applying from Ireland??

Ok aislingc, easier said than done, but try not to panic!
You do seem to have a different email to me (and maybe others), so yes it may be slightly different as an Irish applicant.
Does it say on the email that the questionnaire is necessary for the first stage of the application? Just to double check, because for home students it is only used in combination with the interview performance. A place at interview is given for satisfactory GAMSAT result and a 2.ii.

Give Sarb Atwal a call. Shes in charge of admissions for the graduate course in Derby. Her number is: +44 (0)1332 724625. Having been on the waiting list i've been pestering her most of the summer and she'll most likely be able to advise you on whats happening.
According to the GEM office timetable (link to their website here) they are only open 8.30am-1.30pm tomorrow.

If you've applied for the 5 year course, then im not sure any of what ive just said applies and im afraid i dont know much about it because I only applied for the 4 year graduate entry course last year!
The office for the 5 year course is in Nottingham, their main office number is +44 (0)115 8230092.
The admissions officer for A100 (5year) is Martine Lowes who works 9am-3pm on Fridays. Her number is +44 (0)115 8230007.

Sorry if what i've just told you is patronising and you already know it, but I thought it'd be a help if you didnt know some of it!
