Thanks for the advice. Very useful actually. Anything more you're willing to impart would be wonderful

True on the standard questions being asked with both styles. Though MMI can be quite rigid with little to no dialogue, meaning answers are kind of mini speeches. I’d much prefer to have some discussion even if that does allow the interviewers to ask harder questions, poke holes, and verbally beat the crap out of us :P

Anyone know how the work experience questionnaires will be used? I understand they are scored. Do they simply add that score to an interview score? Will the interviewers have read the questionnaire?
FYI: Clicking on my name to the left leads to the wrong profile - d'oh!

    23rd of march.
    MMI, oh pants!

I'd been planning for a formal interview style, at least there's plenty of time for people to change their preparations / panic wildly. It does mean having to evaluate and reflect on my woeful performance at the SGUL MMI, which is *so* enjoyable.

22nd March for me! can't believe is MMI really didn't want that, but like you say at least we have quite a few weeks to freak out....i mean prepare! Quite glad to be on first day at least it gets it over with - and only have a max of 1 month to wait for decision which am pleased about - i had read about people finding out as late as June. Unless you can get put on a waiting list in which case the wait is longer????

Interview 23 March , 2pm The MMI was def a surprise. I was mentally preparing for the empathy and work ex questions the 5yr people got. Rubbish that there isn't even any of the fun tasks that SGUL had to break it up and give me a chance to do slightly well at. I enjoyed them And I am sooo ready to fall into the trap of dr's are lords and who would want to be anyhting else when my panicked brain scrabbles to find something, anything to say! Let the fun begin.

    WTF?! MMI again...

I really wasn't a fan of it at SGUL, and apparently they weren't a fan of my responses either!haha I'm going to try and prepare much better this time, but it feels like such a mickey mouse way of deciding something so important. I was desparately hoping it would be a panel interview!!

Ah well, Mon 12th April here I come...
