It looks flash but I probably won't be able to hear anything with it

Ah I think Caribbean blue sounds lovely... You don't want something too bright or it might look like a toy!

My ex-colleagues have bought mine as a leaving present. They tell me that it is red or purple (?).
And my husband has snaffled me a lab coat from his work - it is a "ladies" one which is apparently fitted so who knows what it will look like!

Did anyone get the stuff from the BMA today?

I got a pink one for my birthday. It's a little bit shimmery/sparkly

I got the BMA stuff today as well. Seemed like quite a good deal even when you have to pay next year. Has anyone got any textbooks yet? I was planning on waiting until I have a look at a few in the library as there seems a lot to choose from!

Neuro, thats exactly the problem with mine....it does look vaguely fisher-price in nature....

and Keiran, yeah you can get orange ones, the hospital where I work one of the docs on oncology wears it with pride....never did find out where he got it from though

I think the nurse- type stethoscopes come in more colours but obv that's not useful... Don't think you get Littmans' in orange?

Neon blue sounds nice though =)

I havent got anything from the BMA, What is it? whats the stethoscope offer thingy? I found a site that has 10% off at the minute and quite cheap delivery so i might go with them rather than do the BMA thing.

It was my last day at work today, im really sad now - i dont have a job!

I got a big box of 'university essentials' - chocolate, gin and tonic, a pencil case, stationary, hot chocolate, some plastic hawaiian fancy dress necklace thingys, and a £25 voucher for tesco!
