Anyone still house hunting? Or looking for people to take rooms? I'm starting in September and still looking for housemates. Feel free to get in contact through Facebook, I'm on the GEM group. My name is Emily Botcher, the only one on fb I think so I'm fairly easy to find!

Best places to live are, Mickleover, most places on Uttoxeter New Road or road off it, except Junction st. (bit rough, I live there).
As stated previously close to Uni is a pretty important factor.Nottingham GEM 2008

Hi Briefcase,
Have not been to look for anywhere yet myself as have been out of the country. It seems (so i am told by a family member who also happens to be an estate agent in and around Derby) that there is a lot of stuff around and that it should not be too hard to find anything. Also was told a lot of the places with 'To Let' signs dont always need an agent if you are trying to aviod agent fees. Dont know if that reassures you! I should be going up to Derby at some point in the coming weeks to see if i can see places so will let you know if i have any tips.

Hi all,
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I once again have a spacious furnished double room in my house to rent. The house is in a really quiet area of Mickleover - it's about 10 mins away from the hospital by bike and about a 5 minute walk from Tescos/local pubs. House boasts a piano, a garden, central heating (it's pretty warm in winter in fact), double glazing, wireless internet, etc. Rent is £220 pcm plus a share of the bills. Contact me if you're interested on mzyarhw1@nottingham.ac.uk
The only slight downside at the moment is that the University (in their wisdom) have sent me all over the trent region on placements, so I can never be sure if I'll be at home or somewhere far, far away, so you'll need to be a bit patient with me if you want to come and visit and give me lots of notice!4th year Nottingham GEM

Is anyone looking for somewhere to live? I am looking for somebody to share a lovely 2-bed terraced house on Werburg Street ( 15 mins walk from hospital and near bus routes ). It is freshly renovated and has washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer etc...garden at rear and masses of storage space in cellar. Fully furnished. It is really lovely, and will be completely new and freshly painted in September- all is new ( new carpets, kitchen, bathroom, etc...)
I have been talking to the guy who is letting it and he seems really nice. He is prepared to let it for £630 a month (so £315 per person) which seems like a bargain for all the space and the fact that everything is new.
If anyone is interested pop me a message or give me a call on 07920408141.

Hi hippocratic touch. Afraid after a change of plan the place is already gone. Enjoy the end of your holidays! All the best.
