Hola - same here, they won't reveal our position on this list until the UCAS deadline in May. The waiting lists are ranked by GAMSAT scores I think. However, with a low score (60), I'll probably call it quits this year and re-apply later on.

True, it's just that the statistics seem daunting. I'm attending the open day but not the social event. It will help me decide where to apply in the next cycle.

Are you planning to go next saturday?

sorry but how can you say "the statistics are daunting"? do you actually know how many reserves got in last year? I only found figures for St.George's but not for Nottingham... I am not sure about going next saturday...still thinking about it!

I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound pessimistic. They hardly ever reveal the actual figures. It's just that they give out over 128 places for 98 people. So even if lots of people turn down their offer, there will be few reserve places available. Also it's hit and miss, I think that on one year more poeple took up their offers than predicted.

We'll just have to wait until May for the rankings

I have another question for u ...I decided to go to the open day and reserved my place via email. Did they respond to you to confirm back? I need to book my flight tickets..should I wait until Monday in case there is no more place left for me?

Hey, sadly, they don't do a "st Georges". If we aren't offered a place then we have to reapply.

Regarding the open days, please call admissions and check on Monday. I received a reply confirming the place and schecule of the event . I'm sure there are still places left.

kupo, where did u read that they send 128 offers? half expectin to get a letter retracting my offer now haha
