Hey! Yes I got an interview....In the letter it said they calculate your average in 2 ways and take the top score. I did it myself and got 58.8 in one calculation and 60 in the other. Bang on the cut off! I have been given a life line and I am sooooooo grateful.....and nervous
I have an interview next week. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though I felt there was a good chance I'd have to be re-sitting my GAMSAT next year, now that I've done well enough for an interview I'm just so eager to get started.
Don't want to sound 'off' but feel I should draw peoples attention to one of the paragraphs in the blurb they send with the interview invite;
"Confidentiality of the Interview Procedure We are aware of the internet forums on which students exchange advice about interviews and list the questions they were asked. Whilst we have no control over these and cannot police them we would urge you not to post your interview questions onto these web forums. Entry to this course is extremely competative and you are placing other students at an advantage to you by giving them prior warning of the content of the interview."
Just wouldn't want anyone to unwittingly overstep the line nor for anyone to feel affronted by another's reticence.
Interviews are taking place continuously from now until mid jan. Once all interviews have been completed results will be sent out. No matter when your interview is you can expect to hear at the end of January.
By the looks of other reapplicants it seems retaking the ukcat can cause your score to jump 50 points. So we should be fine reapplying to warwick next year. It's just annoying we have to wait another...
