    Certificate in Science Discussion Thread

Ok, been on the website, looks fantastic for someone like myself with an atypical background.

Special Circumstances? Well, thats fine... So whats the catch? Do you know where I might be able to obtain entry stats ect for it? It looks perfect but I just don't want to get my hopes up again...

Got rejected after interview stage last year, and still bitter... lol

Any light you could shed on it for me would be great.

    Hey Westy,

There is no catch. They ask for 200 UCAS tarriff points, C's in English, Maths and Science, GCSE's. You have to fulfil certain criteria, which is mentioned on the website. The best person to contact would be our course leader, John Mckinnon on:

    jmckinnon@lincoln.ac.uk

Feel free to pm me with any questions.

    Westy,

I have just noticed that you are at Plymouth Uni. I have heard it mentioned that as of 2006, Lincoln will no longer be accepting graduates on the course at the request of Nottingham. However, John will be able to tell you for sure if these rumours are true.

i may have read it too fast and missed it, but does it count as a medicine choice? i.e. one of the four you're allowed?

i might apply next year (when i've been rejected from everywhere this admissions cycle!)
