I rescheduled my inteview for 19th Feb, anyone else got one then?

Did anyone have trouble getting through to Emma to rearrange? I kept getting her goddamn answering machine? I kinda wonder if it was deliberate... :S

A bit, but only because she was on holiday at the time! And when I called back again she was in a meeting or conference in another city...but reached her the 3rd time

Hows everyones preparations going?

gave up and call the main admission number and they put me through instantly after I recieved the answerphone message...

After a few days trying, I got through to Emma today. She also mentioned she didn't get my answer phone message, so I'd recommend persistance rather than patience.

I have spent the last 3 days (on and off) reading this entire topic. All 83 pages & it's enlightened me a lot! Sorry to hear about the 2 young ladies who didn't get in durring 2006, but very happy to hear about Tangliss & Molly's success.

I'm currenlty working up a plan on applying to Cert Sci - medicine at Lincoln for 2008.

I'm also trying to figure out what the word 'macca' means...

nope! my back up is applied bio med at lincoln, so really want a place, but dont we all! my tutor is only sending my ref in this week so hopefully hear something soon....

Tangliss, I was wondering how useful was this course to you? and in what ways...

I found the course faily useful as it was set at a reasonable level which edged me into the medical degree, while allowing me to be in a university setting, meeting people that you will study with at nottingham and doing hands on practicals.

However, I have to stress this now I am at Nottingham and have done semester 1 exams, is the course does not prepare you for the level of knowledge expected by nottingham!!!
