av got bad news............................

i cheked my ucas track yday evenin n it sez dat av bin given a conditional offer 4 another course but my original app has been unsuccessful - i cried 4 england last nyt!

but i don't understand bcuz 2 people frm the university confirmed with me dat i hav an interview, the lady i spoke to on the fone wen emma jubbs ws ill n den emma jubbs emailed me herself sayin i had an interview.

i can't believe wats happened, luck never ever wrks 4 me.

av emailed mark baron n rebecca helliwell informing them of the situation, if i don't hear bak frm dem by the tym i get bak frm my exams on monday i'll ring dem.

can they do dat thou? tell me av got an interview n den change their minds - isn't it lyk deception? my sister seems 2 think may ucas av made a mistake, think she wants 2 keep my optimistic n wanted 2 stop me cryin.

lincoln was the only way i cud make my dream cum tru n its bin shattered.........

apply next year macca and you wil most likely mek it.

me applied four years on the trot and not got in yet, for various reasons. i ave had offers, its not all been downbeat so if i can you can too (i jus been unlucky enuff not to be alblr to tek em up at the time lol how crap is that eh?)

i think its likely they'll say yh we changed our mind, but if i was selected for interview i must hav bin gud - Y CAN'T THEY GIV ME AN INTERVIEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWW?!

am gna push dem 2 giv me an interview - obviosuly nicely, n if not wel am gna beg dem 2007 entry!

Sounds to me that maybe the quota has been filled this year, so if there are no places for 2006 start, then no matter how much you beg they are unlikely to give you an interview.

I think it's harsh that you were told by a couple of people that you were going to get an interview, only to find out that you have been unsuccessful. I personally do not see it as deception, just a break down in communication between the various departments and universities. At the end of the day, I think it's mainly down to Nottingham who they select and who they reject, rather then Lincoln.

I really feel for you hun!

This is shocking news.

i can't b optimistic anymore or feel lyk thers sumthin 2 luk 4wrd - it was lincoln 4me n now i don't hav dat.

i was told on the 22nd of may i had an intreview n yday 23rd june was when they've chanegd their minds - i musta bin borderline!!!!!!!!!!!?????????!!!!!!!!

at the bak of my mind i want dem 2 contact me sayin it was a mistake but i kno its not gna happen cuz its jsu the way my luck goes (don't wna go in 2 much but everythin always end slap bak in my face)

jus makes me think wat was ther borderline thign dat decided dat they didn't want me 4 interview? i can change it!!!!!!!!!

its been a bit tuff on ya, but it shuld pay off in the long run. imagine you getting into a 5 yr course next year and then all this 6yr course application will seem like a duff option to you.

so pleeze dont wuzzi Sanj. Peeps get far worse ands than wat you been dealt, believe me. Focus on wats to come, thats the same for everyone. And attack it wif all your armies.
