Of course, I am on the course now, lol! So if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

My interview was ok. I was interviewed by two admissions staff, one from Nottingham and the other from Lincoln. It was like good cop bad cop, and it lasted 45 minutes. I was given an unconditional place, two weeks later, and accepted it straight away.

As the course code starts with a B instead of an A, then it does not count as one of the medical choices, so technically, you can apply to 5 medical schools.

They sure do Sarahh! I took three OU courses, and was given an unconditional offer based on my results Nottingham also accept OU courses for their 5 year programme, hence why I initally took that route.

If you fulfil their non-academic criteria, then I don't see why you would not gain an interview.

    From the website:
To be considered for admission to the Certificate, applicants must be able to show special circumstances. These include:

    # being a first generation entrant to Higher Education.

    # being eligible to receive the Education Maintenance Award (EMA) or equivalent, or (if over 18) being in receipt of a means-tested benefit

    # family, cultural or financial reasons for needing to study in Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire

    # attending a school or college without a strong tradition of progression to Higher Education

    ----------------------

i have 2 of those 4. i think im in receipt of a means tested benefit and my brother lives in derby. my parents are also looking to move to that area.

my school was average and my dad is a doc so that rules the others out.

I think as long as you fufil two of the criteria set, then you will be considered.
