Hey Gizmo,
I've been trying to calm myself down by reading through this forum from A-Z. some pretty amazing journeys through this forum.
I'm getting so upset just thinking about it. im starting to think, maybe its just becuz im not eligible. ive got rejections from Bm6 & UEA A104.
i'm eligible for most things; EMA, means tested benefits and also, i went through a hell of alot of family problems during my A levels so i didnt' get my grades etc...
I just hope they interview me at least!!!!
arghhh......

i feel so hopeless..like ive wasted a year...
argh
dudes im so sorry if im upsetting everyones mood but like i cant help it. its really frustrating...

Hi,
ive not heard anything just yet. Hey guys, I wanted to know, if I have put down on the form that I received EMA and my mother recieved disability allowance, would they be classed as different items on the criteria list? Because, I've got a feeling that I might be rejected on these grounds. The supplementary form had the two items seperate but the administrator had told me they are both classed as the same item.
But to be fair, I came from a crappy secondary school and got onto a good grammar school for 6th form. plus i had a lot of personal family problems which, hopefully, will be taken into consideration.
Does anyone know whether or not my circumstances mean I would NOT be eligible?
Thanks guys

Hey ana. You know, your situation sounds alot like mine =)
My mother gets disability allowance, so i get ema too.
I went to quite a shyte secondary school and moved to a different county and a new grammar school.
I've noticed that the criteria varies among different resources...
i would think that your ema and your mother's disability allowance are different things since ema is dealing with financial issues whereas your mother is a different mitigating issue altogether. So have you already called them?

Nope. I emailed a lady on the admin team and she was telling me that they are both classed as the same thing. The thing is, on my form, I didn't put the fact that my mother is disbaled as a mitigating issue- it was something else along those lines that was hindering my school studies. but when i sent off my form,i attached a photocopy of the HM Inland Revenue TAX thing..and its clearly stated on there that my mother is disabled...so hopefully they take that into consideration too.
Where else have you applied, Kite---Line? (cool name btw)

I've been rejected by all except Lincoln and Southampton so I'm in almost the same situation as you.
