I did not apply through Extra, I was actually the first person to be interviewed for the course, back in Feb 2005, and received an unconditional offer 2 weeks later.

My advice is to wait until early next week, if you have not heard anything, email Mark, Emma or Rebecca, stating your situation. I was told that I was going to be interviewed for the course before I received a letter, as I used to email them loads.

As i appleied through the normal way in october, we got the supplementary form in december and i think they started interviews in late march, so they were a bit slow with their replies, lol.

hey tangliss - i kno this may seem real stupid but am hving trouble structuring my email 2 the admissions tutors! i don't want 2 cum across as arrogant n rude sayin y haven't u luked at my app yt n wat r u doin with it kinda thing?!

Just say it how it is, basically you applied through Extra for the medicine route, and was enquiring about the status of your application.

Trudes, am worried, I spoke to a woman on the open day and she seems to think the certificate for the medicine route is full for 2006! Why would they adverrise through extra if this is the case?? So worried. :-(

Contact Mark on monday to ask. However, sorry to alarm you, but someone told me that they had heard that all the offers for medicine have indeed been given out.....But like you say, why would they advertise through Extra, unless of course the other courses are yet to be filled?

Do u think they will still interview and possibly offer a place if Notts ok it?? I dont really want an answer to that question to be honest cos bad news will shatter me and I could do without that on the dawn of my exams...........
