Grad entry
Seriously considering applying for grad medcine after some advice info?
Currently in 3rr year of Pharmacy degree and plan to finish the 4th year and do pre-reg in hospital. so i can work as locum whilst studying.
Anyone no if those qualifications and experience are excepted? as a desperatly want to be a doc now

as far as qualifications go, depends where you're applying, and whether to GEPs or 5 yrs - eg, for GEP's, some take graduates of any discipline (Newcastle, soton, swansea, Notts/derby, St Georges and somewhere else.). But, swansea, st Georges and notts/derby require GAMSAT. Newcastle and Soton don't, but do need the specific sciences. Other GEPs need degree in science- exact requirements vary, pharmacy would probably meet requirements for most of them, I think.
for experience - pretty sure pharmacy work useful and relevant - but would also try to get some work exp involving more direct patient contact, caring type stuff.
