Anyone still not heard yet?

Hi everyone

Just wondering if there are others which still haven't heard from Newcastle yet? I know most people have now been either interviewed or rejected but I'm still waiting to hear from Newcastle. Anyone in the same position?

Seems strange not to let people know that they aren't going to get an interview until all the interviews are done, most other places tend to let you know either you have an interview or you don't.

I think it's to cover their backs in case everyone they invite for interview is rubbish and they then end up working their way down the UKCAT scores.

Hey, I'm in the same boat! E-mailed Newcastle today asking what the latest date would be that I might hear from them by...and am continuing to check my e-mails a thousand times per day. Will let you know the verdict if they reply (they don't seem class on the contact front )

UEA - interviewed 07/01
Bristol - rejected
Glasgow - rejected

their admissions policy states that usually by mid feb they inform all those not successful at shortlisting
stage, and all offers are usually given my end March, does that mean if we have not been rejected yet that we are going to get an interview then???

I wish, this were true, but I am guessing that if we haven't heard by the end of Feb, then we aren't going to hear and should just treat it as a rejection. Mind you, I got a letter the other day from Durham stating that they just recieved my application at the beginning of Feb from UCAS and they still haven't passed it to the department. So perhaps things are running a bit late this year with the influx of applicants?

The way I've always thought of it is offers only go out after all interviews are complete. I suppose if there are still places available there could be more interviews.

hey, when I was at newcastle for my interview, it was mentioned that the last week of interviews would be in february.
Don't hold me to that though!

Leeds said they would only interviewuntil mid march and have now changed it to the first week of April, so there's always hope.
No news is good news.

Interviews were still going on this week! I had mine on March 3rd and there were two other people being interviewed that day (including applicants for both the 3 and 4 year course).
