I have a friend doing med at Nottingham (but she went to escape her mother!) and I know Sheffield is good but I think newcastle was 4th or 5th in the medical school tables last year

I think I'll most definitely be firming newcastle, with sheffield as my insurance. (i think!!!)
I might try and apply for my accomodation in that case, if yours went through

I always wanted to move away, but the newcastle offer is just too good to turn down really, I wouldn't have gotten bbb from anywhere else

snap.really hoped could live in halls but seems unlikely. being positive and thinking will know people by second year and could do houseshare but will miss being near everyone if have to live at home

i'm really hoping i get to live in halls too!
don't really want to waster 3+ hours per day communting into uni when it could be spent working etc :/
and obviously a much better social scene!!
I think I'll email accomodation and see what they say.
