feel a bit cheeky for going to biomed day now. hadn't got offers then and seriously thought might be doing physiology and trying to swap after 1 year.
are you still going to Leeds? I'm putting Newcastle as firm but will still go. my results were decent this week (I resat most of last years) so am in great mood. Hadn't realised Newcastle do partners offers first til went on the studentroom and they all still waiting. so chuffed for us all. I could be on partners from EMA/ postcode but only applied as my mum was very ill for about 18 months and I had to look after 3 younger brothers. The 15 year old got all A*s in his exams but I had the baby and the 10 year old to see to and couldn't revise.good caring experience tho and mam fine now,

wow well done! that must have been really hard on you! it's great that you can see the positives though

I'm not sure about Leeds :/
I don't know whether to go and then have to wait to for their decision when I could be putting my accomodation application into Newcastle.
When is your Leeds interview?

I got an email about the accomodation last week as I had the physiology offer.applied for the 2 with catering ! don't think will get a place as can get in by bus if have to -an hour's ride away. Leeds do the reduced offer thing too (though Manchester told me that as well and offered AAB) but since really want newcastle, think I should withdraw and they might interview someone else.

I wonder how they decide who gets what offer then :S

Can you apply for newcastle accomodation without making it your firm first?

the application for the accomodation went through but hadn't thought about not firming them yet. it said they don't sort it til after results but not hopeful as not that many places.
I went thru Access to Leeds scheme too. must have just scraped in as one of last interviews.
not many partners people on here or tsr.found 2 on tsr but that,s it.there were lots at the info night but that was for all courses I suppose.
are you firming newcastle. I have a friend doing med at Nottingham (but she went to escape her mother!) and I know Sheffield is good but I think newcastle was 4th or 5th in the medical school tables last year
