Had my interview. They were very VERY friendly and did not try to give me a grilling by any means. I did not perform well though: terrible delivery, couldn't answer one question *at all* (which given my background, I should have been able to), and perhaps put my foot in it a few times i.e. a few big no-no's came out my mouth - would be suprised if I got an offer based on that performance.

On the plus side, I might get browny points for my lack of "preppedness" depending on how they viewed the wing'ish approach e.g. as unmotivated/lazy vs genuine.

i think they will appreciate the fact that you were genuine, they must hear all sorts of samey people! i'm a bit worried about mine, it went quite well but everyone around me said that aswell... you probably stand out with your uniqueness!!!!!

It's coming to that time of year.
I seem to remember Newcastle send out their rejections/offers mid march?
Any idea if that's going to be happening again, and what exactly is mid-march?
I've been waiting a while so I want to know the outcome... I'm desperate for a place at the toon!

well at the interview (in feb) they told me they would let everyone know by the end of march
